Modifry's web site describes it as "Air Control Valve Circuit Low Voltage". My service manual doesn't list this code at all. Hope that gives you a few leads.

http://www.diagnosticdialog.com/LookupCode.asp

Trouble Code: P0142 (is this my code 14-2?)

Vehicle Qualification: Honda S2000

Description: O2 Sensor Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 3)

And where is this little feller located? A picture would be nice

Hhehehhe, again, my service manual doesn't list the code. I'd guess that's referring to a malfunction in the secondary O2 sensor. It should be screwed into the drivers side of the catalytic converter. The primary O2 sensor is screwed into the top of the header right before the cat. Both wiring harnesses should route over the transmission and plug into connectors on the driver's side of the tranny.

Ok thanks

But question still remains: Does our cars have a third o2 Sensor? or is it the second one that maybe needs to be replaced

What do you guys think

Thx Simon

i got the code from a scan tool

What do you guys think the problem is?

When i reset the box (offcourse i idle the car for 5 min), the light goes away, but when i drive it, it sometimes happens that i got a fuel cut, and the Cel goes on (only in higer rpm)

im like ???????

all suggestion are welcome,

Why the code p0142 shows

/Simon
