Default CEL Light

03 s2000 with Hondata Kpro version 4.2 I have been trying to do the emissions drivecycle to get my readiness codes to read, I enabled the obd and then I got a cel p0443 Evap purge valve circuit which I never had a problem with before , do I need a new purge valve or what should my steps be to see if it's faulty
Thanks

Check the wiring and connector, if they look good pull the solenoid out and check if it opens correctly, it's just two pins and takes 12V.
Should hear a small click when it operates, you can also try to blow through it.

Here is a picture of the parts, it sits right down between intake manifold and the abs module

No7 hose splits and connects to the intake manifold at two places.

Thanks guys , pulled the part today I'll see if I can test it this way! Now if it's bad and I replace it should I clear the DTC codes through k pro or recent the Ecu fuse

Either one should get the job done, I prefer to do it through kpro though.
