The way I understand it the blinking CEL means a misfire in more than one cylindar is this correct? Im really hoping its just the plugs which I know need to be changed since Im at 97K and have never replaced them. There is no internal knocking sounds or any sort coming from the engine just an obvious misfire causing the shakes. I should be able to get a test on the ECU this afternoon so I will know more. Car has been good to me know. Have never had any issues with it. Always drives great. If its major I will likely sell as I have been wanting a new vechicle anyways.

it sounds like misfire, which could be your plugs, or it could be your ignition coil. but no one will know untill you get the damn codes so get them, take it to honda, or just run it till she splodes.
but really this is why i like my 94 lude in some ways more than the s, cause on the lude all you have to do to get the code is put a paper clip is this little wire connector and it makes the check engine light flash in sequence that tells you what the code is, much easier.
good luck hope you get it fixed. i know some places will let you take the obd2 outside by yourself, you just give them your driver licence, so just take it home and test it take it back and get your licence, and if they ask what took so long, just say if took a while to figure out how to use it
