CEL help!
Ok I threw a CEL this morning on my way to work and so I searched on hear and wanted to get the code before posting. however when I went to Autozone to get the code pulled they couldnt fint the OBD plug thing to plug it into. I just bought the car and and have never looked for the plug before and I looked in the pasanger side footwell where it usually is and couldnt find it. So after searching about 20 min I left and serached on hear to see if someone else asked where this plug is and I only found this http://forums.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=108435 and a picture of the plug on an 01 s2k and I looked on my car an 02 and didnt see it in the same spot. So my main question is where is the plug for an 02 so I can get the code its throwing. thanks for the help

I believe in the '02 it is hidden on the drivers side, way up on the right side behind the radio. Also, had the same problem '02 in my...it was because the gas cap wasn't tight enough. However it didn't go off on its own so I pulled the fuse to re-set it and no problems...most likely it will be fine.

Just to make sure you have the complete and exact CEL, here it is from the thread on top of UTH:
P1456 EVAP Emission Control System Leak Detected (Fuel Tank System)
P1456 EVAP Emission Control System Leak Detected (Fuel Tank System)
I'm pretty sure P1456 is the "gas cap" CEL. There is a decent chance that your gas cap was not installed correctly at the last fill up. I think there is a TSB for deformed fuel filler neck on the 02-03's. I just hold my gas cap by the edges and make sure it firmly seats all the down. It feels as if it binds about half way down, almost like it's about to cross thread, but then a couple more turns and it seats nicely. I would suggest that should inspect/ firmly seat/ tighten the gas cap down Then you could clear the DTC, or I believe you could also wait about 3 days, with normal driving I think this DTC can clear itself after like 3 driving cycles.

I just can't believe how many bad gas cap issues this car has had. The car is an engineering marvel, but they surely messed up the gas cap somehow (or filler neck on some) and haven't fixed it on even the newest models.
