Default Cel code P2138

After driving on a highway over a bridge. My CEL came on could it have trigger the Accelerator pedal position sensor I got my first CEL. The car was on limp mode. I went to autozone pull the codes P2138 P0219 83-1 61-1 so I took it to Honda to fix the problem. After Honda troubleshoot it they said the Accelerator position sensor is the problem and wanted to charge 501 for the part and service
But the part is on back order. So I decline the service and got a quote at autozone. After coming out from autozone the CEL light is gone and drives perfect now. Should I still be concerned to get a new Accelerator position sensor.

You exceeded a calibrated engine limit which is why the car went into self protection (limp) mode. P0219 is a Honda Code which indicates "The vehicle was operated in a way to exceed the calibrated limit". OBD-II and the ECU are in intimate contact. RPM is monitored real time and for some reason the calibrated limit in the ECU was exceeded. This set your CEL. OBD-II is a smart software and learns as it goes. There are several ways OBD-II can reset itself as yours did. Some codes allow aa "one Trip Reset" while others monitor several engine runs. Not sure if there is a bump when you hit the bridge or were on the gas. By the way when on it, hit the bridge transition, buck around on the gas due to the bump you may set a CEL. Ask me how I know
.

I would drive short hops around the neighborhood before I did anything. Car may have freaked due to noted inputs......

I'm getting a little confused on which sensor it is. is TPS (Throttle Position sensor?) the same as APP (accelerator Position Sensor. I've looked it on google and there's 2 differ things or are they the same just some people call it differ?. I have the Code P2138 but its gone now but i want to order the part to make sure if it comes back on again. Anyone can input me on some information. Thanks
