CEL Code: P0335... How do I fix?
Spun the car in a corner during Autocross... Engine and fuel cutoff after the spin. Tried starting, but car would not start. Waited about 10 seconds and was able to start and drive again. CEL came up...
I took it home and put a paperclip in pins 4 and 9 in DLC to pull the code. The CEL lamp blinked quickly 4 times. According to the FAQ it would be this CEL code:
P0335 0 - 4 --------------- Crankshaft Position (CKP) Sensor Circuit Malfunction
P0336 0 - 4 --------------- Crankshaft Position (CKP) Sensor Range/Performance
What does the code mean and what should I do next? Take to dealer? Reset the ECU?
Thanks.

so you stalled during the spin because you didnt disengage the clutch right?
based on this info, i would imagine that when you spun with the clutch fully engaged, it forced the engine to rotate backwards for a few revolutions. the ecu sees signal from the crank sensor opposite from what it usually is and sets off the code.
now that you have the code, i would recomend you now reset it and see if it comes back.
*make sure your crank sensors are plugged in and tight first.

Thanks for your reply.
It all happened within a split second, but I do not recall depressing the clutch in, but your explanation makes sense.
I just drove the car earlier and the CEL is no longer on.
Sorry, where arethe crank sensors located?
