cel blinking update
Okay for the past few weeks I have had the blinking cel. I swapped injectors (set of used). Coil packs etc were checked too....etc. Compression ok!
(cel only when idle)
I think I found the answer, but I need your help. it only goes on when idling. I hear something like a ptsss sound (not as harsh as a bov) almost like a fuel pump coming from the engine bay. When the sound goes, the cel blinks, then it seems the car shakes idle dips slightly and there is a surge in power and the instrument panel gets brighter (interior dome light too) then the cel goes off. I hear another ptss sound then it blinks again. Hmm any suggestions?

CHECK THE MAP SENSOR!!!
when I had my misfire at idle problem I messed with the map sensor(taking it off while car is running) and it hissed when it wasn't tightened down properly

If the mis-firing is frequent enough to trigger detection of increased emissions during two consecutive driving cycles, the MIL will come on, and DTC PO300 (and some combination of PO301 through PO304) will be stored.
If the mis-firing is freqent enough to damage the catalyst, the MIL will blink whenever the mis-firing occurs, and DTC PO300 (and some combination of PO301 through PO304) will be stored. When the mis-firing stops, the MIL will remain on.
