CEL after CAI install
I'm not the brightest halegon lamp at Lowe's- so don't laugh!
After install a CAI, my S2000 triggered the CEL after the third start up/drive. There was no noticeable decline in driveability other than at idle w/ the CEL lit. I reset the ECU per a search on this site.
We headed to a meet- 150 miles and no CEL. We ate and talked for about an hour and a half. Got in the car and headed about 15/20 minutes down the road. After talking for an hour, we were ready to head home. Turned the car over and the CEL had come back on.
The car will run 2-3 starts/drives fine and then the CEL comes up. During the install of the CAI, I believe I initially screwed up the vacuum lines. Seemingly correcting them has not rectified the situation. There are some sounds that I had not noticed before( probably wasn't listening for them), but the hissing vacuum-leak sound is no more.
Before I take my girl to have her scanned, does anyone have a suggestion? I am running an aftermarket exhaust, but did not install the test pipe I purchased separately... if that matters at all.
Any and all help is appreciated!

I finally found one. The only thing I couldn't figure out was which nipple on the air control solenoid/valve was in and which was out. But I'll tell you what, I had it ALL jacked up!
Can't wait to run her wit it all correct!
Again, there is a ton of info on here. I wouldn't even try this stuff if it weren't for everybody contributing! thanks.
