CEL
Well, I was hoping that I'd put on more miles before something like this came up, but hopefully it's not too bad. I was driving into work this morning, freeway speed, and had to slow down for a guy in front of me turning off the road. As I was slowing/starting to downshift, looked down and saw my CEL turn on. Did the paperclip trick in the parking lot just now and got 9 long, 0 short for a blink code. This code isn't listed on Modifry's page. Anybody know where I can look these codes up? Is it a good assumption, based on the codes on Modifry's page, that 9 long blinks to implies a problem with emissions?
I did also re-tighten the fuel cap (suggestion from my local mechanic over the phone), but I'm not sure whether or not that's even nearly the correct solution (CEL still on).
I'll get the ECU code later today when I get a chance to use my friend's ODBII scanner.

Okay, I downloaded the service manual (hondahookup.com) - blink code 90 can be either:
P1456 Evaporative Emissions (EVAP) Control System Leakage (Fuel Tank Svstem)
or
P1457 Evaporative Emissions (EVAP) Control System Leakage (EVAP Canister System)
At this point I'm thinking it's the fuel cap thing, but will wait to reset the ECU until I can get my hands on that OBDII scanner.
*EDIT*
Done. The code was P1456. I made sure my fuel cap was on tight and cleared the code with the scanner. Need to drive a few hours out of town now, so we'll see if the problem shows up again.
I guess you learn something new every day
