My girlfriend's cat actually does have a habit of peeing on my wheels. Does it at least a few times a year. I guess it wants to mark my car as belonging to it.

I just wash them off, of course.

Lemme ask u this, when u wash your car do u spray your brakes when u spray your wheels? Do u think that does any damage??? Besides, the pee will burn off if u do a few hard stops.

(note: do not spray your brakes with water when they are hot. Make sure they have an allotted amount of time to cool if u want to test the theory mentioned above!!!)...

Wait so you mean the proper brake check procedure isn't to do 10 hot laps, and then rest the wheels in a pit of ice?
Shhhhhhhh...quit telling them track secrets.

that's how you get cryo'd brakes , makes them super reliable.

Do you think if I hook up NOS to each brake; I could cool them by freezing them on the track? This should increase braking performance by over 9000 easily, don't you think?

good thinking, I know it works well on turbo intercoolers , can't see why it wouldn't work on rotors too, freeze those babies ice cold.

This reminds me of...
Can I park my S2000 out in the rain? It's completely stock and I have the top up.
-- NO! You CANNOT park this car in the rain. It will shrink when it gets wet and the tires will wrinkle up like little prunes.

I ran across this potential solution. If you're really bothered, as this fellow was, it's a pretty elaborate solution along with extensive documentation. And, I suspect that most of the folks here have the technical skills to make it work.
