I am talking about differential fluid.

Should I try to find the Mobil1 (pain in the butt) or should the Castrol be OK?
Hey, MMMan, you can get Mobil 1 GL-5 at that little Husky station (may have changed names) on the corner of Blackfoot Trail and 19 street S.E. You may have to ask for it in case they don't have any on the shelf. They keep the rest in the storage room. $14.00 Here's a satellite photo of the shop (dead center of the map). It's the diamond shaped roof and in the parking lot, you see a big white truck parked. Just zoom out till you can see where this is.

Never said it was, I'm not retarded. I was making a statement saying that I prefer Castrol synthetics to Mobil 1 synthetics. I figured by specifying one as a GL-5 and the others as motor oil people would figure out easily enough that I was talking about different fluids.
Hey, don't get your panties in a knot. Clarity is always a good thing. There's always somebody out there who's gonna get it wrong. After all, this was supposedly a thread about diff fluid. Bringing in motor oil needs to be clear and concise.

So where do I find this GL-5 engine oil?
I want to use it in my brakes.
Because I use DOT 5.1 in my diff, that is what I was reading here.
Would that be ok?

As per YOUR instructions?
