car wont start, error code p0607 and p0135

This is the ECU for the '04 and '05 AP2 engine.
Maybe it's buried in your post, but I can't tell what engine or car you have. (Lack of punctuation and capitalization make it hard to read.)

Previously had AP2 ecu in it, I have since put in an AP1 ECU and do not get any error codes being thrown.
My underlying problem was that it has a blown head gasket, pulled the head and found an obvious crack in the gasket between 2 cylinders and I noticed one of the valves has a cracked retainer.
I just bought a good shape F22 AP2 Head and will be using that on my F20 block

My only thought is that I would want to have a pretty good idea what caused the head gasket to fail before spending a lot of money and just throwing it ll back together.

And considered the modifications involved ?

Update:
Car runs fantastic now, woo hoo!!
Had lots of issues to sort out from previous owner, still unsure why AP2 ecu was in there:
1. changed AP2 ecu and immobilizer to proper AP1 (this fixed the codes being thrown)
2. replaced head gasket and all gaskets for top end and timing cover
3. replaced head with good used AP2 head, swapped in my AP1 Cams and holders and adjusted valves accordingly
4. replaced timing chain, guides and tensioner (when inspecting I found the guides were worn pretty bad)
5. replaced timing sprocket bushing as mine had chips
6. new fuel pump and regulator
7. new water hoses all around
8. new serpentine Belt
9. new O2 Sensors
10. all new fluids
no leaks and temperature has been steady 3 bars, feels like a new car
Thanks Guys!

Gotta love a happy ending!
Your excess '04-'05 ECU is worth at least $100 (maybe $200) on Ebay. Maybe more with the immobilizer.
