Hello everyone my car will not go over 3 thousands rpms and is jumping in idle from 1-2 thousand rpms I cleaned the iac and replaced the map sensor and it seemed like it fixed the problem until the car warmed up. Any ideas? Or anyone in oc for h2o willing to lend a hand

Unplugged the vtec solenoid now the car will go over 3k but still jumps around at idke

Take it by Autozone, they'll pull the code and print it out for you for free.

Jesus... Sounds like it's a really difficult time to be an auto-enthusiast in California. I always hear about odd laws/regulations that affect tuners.

Yeah Calfornia has a lot of odd regulations and rules. But there are always ways around a lot of things.

OP, you need the codes for anyone to help you.

The ECU put the motor into limp mode. Like everyone else is saying, you need to have the code pulled to know what the problem is.
