Nope, we haven't pulled the cover yet. We're just going to see if this has something to do with the injectors or ecu first. The car isn't really bogging (I don't think it's bogging anyways) down it's just the exhaust popping.

Another thing is you could take it to Honda and let them look at it... but you know how they are. If they don't find anything though it won't cost you anything. I think the inspection costs $78 or something along those lines if they do.

I'd just replace the injectors at this point.

It's not really bogging down, more of a brief hesitation. I think if we can get it recorded on video, it'll explain itself more accurately.

Again I'd drive it at 90% of WOT and see if the issue is still there - if it is not there at 90% throttle , but there at WOT - it is a difference cause by open loop vs. closed loop ECU operation. Otherwise it is just load dependent.

Also, see if you can get somebody with a OBDII scanner that can read real-time data(like a laptop based scanner, maybe a VW friend with a VAGCOM) and see what the long term fuel trim is doing - it should be close to 0 if all is well, but if any sensors are misbehaving the long term trim will walk towards leaner or richer operation to keep the car within the emission spec.

Your issue is exactly what one would see on a car with a failing MAF, but we ain't got one.

My previous ride was real sensitive about spark plug gap. I had to experiment with several sizes in order to prevent spark blow-out.

You might try closing the gap a little to see if it clears things up. Be careful though, not suppose to gap iridiums.

Ok so it doesn't do anything abnormal at 90% throttle. Not sure about the long term fuel trim. Would it be ltft, bc there is a LTFT and STFT. If so, the LTFT is reading -3.1.

Ok, it's fixed. P0302 was caused by a bad coil plug.

Here's the video though... Sorry abt the music couldn't find anything else. hah

Yep! She's fixed and ready for the DBR '09! Thanks for everyone who contributed suggestions.
