Unless it's out of oil, The oil level isn't going to cause a stumble. If it's really low on oil, it can cause a P1259 for VTEC sytem failure.

It sounds as if the O2 is acting up, If the O2's voltage is high, it's richer than stoich. If the 02v's are low, it leaner than stoich.

Your car is further complicated by the PLX, and the E-manage.

I'd want to eliminate the PLX from the equation 1st, and convert back to a stock primary 02. If you still have a problem, It's most likely in the E-manage map.

I have not spliced the resistor, but will do it today.

I think the problem must be have something to do with PLX or the Primary O2. Maybe the O2 Sensor tells the ECU a wrong voltage. So a high voltage let the ECU think it is running to rich and try to compensate it. This could cause the lean situation i have when my car is bogging and stuttering....

Today i soldered all connections from the PLX M-300 Wideband directyl to my VTec-Frog E-Manage Harness and did a long test drive.

The problem went away and also the OBD-II Scan shows a perfect O2 function.

It seems a cable went loose and cause all the problems i had.

Thanks for all your help!

[QUOTE=Slows2k,Oct 6 2004, 08:00 PM] Salaska, does the car stall with the Air Conditioning on at idle?

I've noticed that it takes longer for the PCM to compemsate for A/C load at idle, and the RPM drops, then takes a few seconds before stabilizing. ( more pronounced with the E-manage) Mine has never stalled unless the engine is cold and I leave the AC on.

PCM = Powertrain control module. Salaska and I had the old Blue e-manage running on supercharged cars without a FMU. If you car is stock, not much in this antique thread applies.

Unless you have a emanage and a Supercharger not much in this thread applies to you.

This thread predates the Forced Induction forum. In 2004 all FI questions ended up in UTH.

I am late posting this up but when I had my Vortech supercharger I had similar symptoms. The clutch would have to be feathered to get going and once above 3500-4000 rpms it would drive normal. Other then that the car would fall on its face. All in all my plugs had fouled out. I pulled them and put new plugs and gapped them. And my problem ceased. good luck!
