Car shutting down under 3 mph?
So this has happened before and I did the whole clean the throttle body and surrounding parts and a MAP whack, zip tie fix, and that fixed it once, but its only been like 5k miles and my car is already doing it again. Every time I slow to a stop in just revs so low it stalls, and I have pen pointed this down to 3mph. So any ideas? right now I am just e-braking under 3 mph at stop lights and keeping the revs up the whole time I am stopped and this Shit gets really annoying.

Mine does something like this. When i push the clutch in and it revs down, it starts to idle right then just shudders and stalls out sometimes. Its really annoying..

try to adjust the throttle cable wire so it doesnt rev so low at idle......If that doesnt work, only other thing I could think of is that your car is not getting properly charged, indicating it's time to get a new battery.

Idle air control? the IAC is what controls the idle, if the idle is not being adjusted, then thats what I would take a look at/clean first.
Also, if you did anything electronic anytime recently, the car has to 'relearn' the idle and stuff so you cant be holding in the gas pedal - that makes it worse for the car. Theres a way to allow the ECU to relearn idling...its on the forums somewhere.

disconnect your battery, if you have an aftermarket radio or the radio code handy, and drive your car normally. this will cause the ECU to "reset". then drive normally and that includes not revving the engine to keep it from stalling. eventually it will relearn how to act.

^try reset the ECU, doesnt hurt and it MIGHT fix it. If that doesnt, clean the IAC, be careful though...I broke mine on my other car trying to clean it...and Im sure those things are more expensive on the s2k

I cleaned my IACV last weekend. Helped it idle a lot better and throttle response is better. But now the car wants to just shut off when at idle, when the rpm's drop, like when im going down the road. BUT I have a feeling this may be my throttle cable too loose so im going to check it. Also going to do the idle relearn process for my ECU.

It is springtime... again! Many refiners have to change gasoline formulation twice a year that sometimes it just does not do well with the weather variations. Get a fresh tank and give it a little time before you make changes.
