car shifts better after taking intake and tp off

Default car shifts better after taking intake and tp off

so i just took out my berk tp and k&n cai 3 days ago, and i have noticed that the shifts are much more smooth....before i would get notchiness during shifts

anyone know why this is?

It's probably just your senses. You can hear the engine better, which in turn is probably helping your senses better identify how to time your shifts.

Maybe they affected rate the rpm dip after each shift. Other than that they should have no role in "notchiness".

hmmm well i pretty much shift at the same rpm mark...
and it actually does feel smoother for some reason
