Default Car rattling on idle

Hi everyone!

So month ago I went to track day and blew my clutch (one of spring went out), after that had 1000km trip, it was grinding but worked more or less fine.
Clutch was replaced (ACT PP, oem disc and two oem bearings) and everything was good but the other day had another 1000km trip and strange rattle appeared.
I can hear it well from cabin, seems to come from passenger footwell but it disappears after adding throttle.
Cluch engaging is not affecting this rattle. Also I hear a buzz for a second on acceleration at around 4500rpms, below and above no noises are present.

Here is a video from inside of car:

Cold start:

After warm up:

Mechanic considers this to be a failing TCT.
But it doesn't sound that bad under the hood so I am not sure if this is it.
Currently waiting for an another TCT to install it and check if problem remains.

Meanwhile maybe someone has an idea on what can this be except for TCT?
Since it was my first track day maybe I hurt smth in tranny?
Car has 180k kilometers and it is MY05 AP1 european market.

The TCT will fail and if you've never replaced it it's a good idea to replace it regardless. Billman GenX is the first consideration but outside the USA you may need an alternate. Balade markets one but I don't know their export mailing ability. OEM unit should be available but they are notorious for failing again. These units can be repaired but those seem temporary.

Damn, forgot to mention that Ballade TCT was installed together with clutch change.
Original one was ok, but I decided to replace it without waiting for failure.

On one hand i hope that it is tct, since it will be an easy fix, but on the other hand if ballade tct has failed after 1000km then I am unluckiest person ever

Ever do a valve adjustment? How old is the accessory belt?

Thanks!

When you do the clutch, you have to remove header. The header has an S shaped bracket that secures it to engine block, that is removed with header. If this bracket is loose, or installed backwards, or cracked, you will get a rattle like you describe.

Could also be a tweaked header heat shield, from it being mishandled during clutch work.

If you didn't have loose chain noise to start with, then the chances are very high that you have over tightened the chain.

Put the oem tct back in.

Thanks for advices!
First will reinstall old TCT, then will check exhaust for loose parts.

So I managed to get rid of this sound.
Replacing TCT didn't help.

Took car to mechanic and after few hours of checks they found out that ETD was not tightened in one place (where damper is connected to engine bracket)
Now it is silent as it was.

Billman, is this statement applicable to your replacement tct? I recently replaced my OEM one with yours as preventative maintenance. There was no timing chain noise to begin with yet now I have a ticking noise only audible from inside the cabin.
