my s2k pulls hard to the left and right after i hit a manhole cover. it gets really sensitive to the road at higher speeds also. really scared to drive past 80. my alignment is a bit off right now and pulls to the right a bit but i dont think its alignment that can cause my car to feel like that. anyone have any ideas? could it be frame damage? when i bought the car, carfax said no accidents. my car is not lowered, dont know if thatll make a difference. it has stock springs and shocks. ive also heard tire pressure can cause the car to pull but it feels as if my car rocks to the right and then quick left.

Mileage? 10 year old shock/suspension probably needs replacement.

Tire pressure is definitely important...check it.

I found that after a strut tower bar or/and a x-brace, the uneven road conditions pulling totally went away.

GL on your troubleshooting.

do not go for mods to fix this. just do normal maintenance.

-check your tire pressure
-check for uneven/abnormal tire wear
-get an alignment (how could alignment not cause this? it controls which way the wheels point!)
-inspect your suspension for worn/torn bushings. move individual components around feeling for play that shouldn't be there.
-replace shocks/springs? i would say last resort

mines is an 03, with 47k miles but the previous owner had it sitting for 3 years, i checked tire pressure made it all 32psi
my tires do have a bit of wear because it rubs on my fender and there are little bits that are kinda like chipped off,
my friend did my alignment at his school and he put everything within spec, except the caster, he couldnt get the caster to be within spec
i have a strut bar right now, maybe i should try to take it off? to see how it feels without it.

check the compliance bushings....they rip easily

If you get a chance get your wheels balanced also. You could have a bent rim/s.

I had that once with a BMW and it was a bad tie rod, not sure if that applies to the S2000 but it could be a worn/loose suspension part on the front. Any good suspesion shop should be able to figure it out. Also, improperly sized tires on the front will cause a mild version of what you are experiencing too.

My last couple of cars have tended to trammel a good bit when I'm in the right lane where rigs normally drive. Comes with the territory with wide low-profile tires so I try to stay as far right or left as I can within a lane.

This does not make sens if you have a stock suspension. Especially if you are not running larger tires.

i have toyo proxes 4 225/40/18 in the front and 245/40/18 in the back
i really only notice this when i hit bumps or cracks in the road. im pretty scared to drive past 90 and hit a bump, it doesnt feel very safe.
