car was overheating
So my turbo coolant lines were leaking for some time, but very small leak ( so i thought ) i used the check the coolant level in the overflow thank every 2 days, and it was fine.
my ECT just broke ( it would show 4 bar right after i start up the car ) the other day i notice the bars went from 4 to 5 and 6 in traffic.
so i parked the car in my house and went to check the coolant on the radiator, the coolant was very low, took 1 full gallon to fill up the radiator.
So now i'm thinking what damage was done to the engine while the car was overheating. Where should i check?
my coolant setup.
koyo rad + koyo cap
spal dual fans
spoon thermo, spoon switch
samco radi hoses
if it help i have a laskey built block.

dont know much about ur turbo setup, but those mods should be able to cool almost any motor. Due to the fact that it reads high right away might mean ur either really low on oil or your thermostat is malfunctioning. Should take the motor some time to heat up after startup without the coolant system doing anything so i wouldnt say its coolant but ive been wrong before and ill be wrong again.

i'm not running the stock ECU, i have the EMS thats why i have the ECt.
when i checked the coolant on the radiator was very low, again it toke 1 gallon of coolant to fill up the radiator again,
i need to know how to check if any damage was done.
