Car not starting / radio cutting in and out in heat
Hey guys so I have an odd issue, whenever its above around 70 degrees my radio speakers cut in and out, gets a lot worse when i'm accelerating. Doesn't matter if its on aux, FM, CD. This will only happen for the first 10 minutes of driving the car then it'll play perfectly fine. I have aftermarket speakers and an aftermarket deck. My car also intermittently wont start in the heat, problem arose at the same time. Like the radio, after 10 minutes of driving it will start every time until its been sitting awhile. When its below around 70, I don't have either issue. Any help is appreciated.

Do you have a relocated battery?
What does you're sound system comprise of, as in is it only upgraded 2 front speakers and aftermarket deck?

I'm having a somewhat similar issue, but with stock audio. It's not caused me to have a no-start problem, but it's annoying.
It may be a completely separate issue though as I get the same problem as I go over things like railroad tracks and think that it may be a loose connection somewhere.
My advice is to check all the ground cables and make sure that your battery terminals are clean.

I just had this issue fixed. One of your wires is loose or not grounded. My speaker wires had touched the metal on the door and was causing the grounding error. causing the radio to not work. I have a alpine deck and speakers; had it for 6 years and only recently had this problem. Check the connections.
I took the alpine deck out.. recheck the connections got a second ground for it, change battery, new connectors and after all that it was the speaker wire that cause my grounding error. like txApex said make sure your battery terminal are clean too.
