Car moves to left when gas applied

Car moves to left when gas applied
Howdy, I am new to the car. 80k on the odometer, just installed new tires and had a 4 wheel alignment. Tire pressures are fine. If I'm crusing at say 55 and I roll on the throttle the whole car wants to move left, I let up on the gas and it comes back to the right. Is this normal for the car? Any thoughts anyone?
Thanks

it sounds like tire pressure but you said it was fine. i would check to see if they didnt by chance put a front tire on the back and vice versa. this has happened to a few people. if it is neither of these things i would have the alignment rechecked

Did this happen before the alignment? If its just after its a poor alignment.
No apparent suspension damage? Time to check those parts for sure.
Now does this continually happen or did you notice it on the highway. Sometimes when you drive on the interstate the ruts can make your car feel like it has issues when the reality is that it just wants to stay in the grooves.
Just some things to check out, but ya my suspicion is a poor alignment.

The car moved to the left before the alignment as well. I was wondering about the ruts in the road and will have a chance tomorrow to try it out on a new piece of paved road. Since the suspension looks to be original, I am wondering about a bad shock. I will be replacing them with the Koni coilovers with the autocross valve setup this winter. Tire sizes are good front to back as well as direction. More trial and error tomorrow I guess. Will keep you posted.
Thanks for the input.

Did you get a chance to check the old tires for uneven wear?
Could you post your alignment specs?
The OEM MY01 wheels are 16", what tires did you get?
7/10 what you describe does turn out to be tire pressure.
Check all 4 when cold.
Succes

my car tends to change its line noticeably when i apply gas ever-so-slightly on any sort of mild, gradual curve, and at any speeds, even as slow as 15-20mph. my tire pressures are 32psi all around. when i posted about it, all i got were people yelling at me, telling me to "LEARN HOW TO DRIVE RWD AND THEN COME BACK TO US." hahaha.
it seems like maybe it's a problem in my suspension as well. let me know what comes of your situation.

My vote is if its a new alignment make sure all your wheels are properly balanced. My car drives fine on my works but when I put my beat up old ap1s on it that are totally out of balance the thing goes all over the road.

Happened to me...My front left tire was WAY of with the tread and was wasted outside in.
so my car veered to the left also.
Got 2 new tires and aligned it and BAM straight line again
