Car Misfiring... advice anyone?
First thing I want to say is that I have already read through this thread regarding misfires:

It's very unlikely that the clutch itself has anything to do with the misfire.
The clutch job on the other hand might have something to do with the misfire. Read #3 on the Misfire Thread.
Unfortunately, there is little you can do to get around the tests I outlined to find the cause accurately the first time.

I wasnt suggesting that the clutch and misfire were related. I am wondering if my issue was mis-diagnosed as a clutch issue when really the misfiring was the problem all along. The behavior of my car is just skipping/bogging even after the clutch was replaced... I was told that is the misfire taking place. So it seems I may not have needed a new clutch at all... no way to know at this point I dont guess.
I will start on the diagnosis steps... thanks

It's kind of a double-edged sword.
If you take the car to the dealer to get diagnosed and fixed, then you pay for the diagnostic time.
If you think you "know" the problem and you tell them to "replace item A," then they will charge you for replacing item A.
Some better shops will tell you if it really doesn't make sense to do that, but if you're not asking them to diagnose the problem then you can't blame them if the diagnosis was wrong.
If the problem was new since clutch replacement, watch for a broken knock sensor as part of your troubleshooting.
