my car makes a slight metallic rattling noise a little above 3000 rpms in every gear in the center console area no matter what kind of throttle input. i took everything out of the center console to make sure it was nothing in there making the noise. i recently installed a short shifter and was wondering if that could be the problem. maybe there wasnt enough grease? i was going to take the shifter out and re-grease it to see if that fies the problem. anyone know what the honda facotry grease is called so i dont potentially mess it up? could there be some other option than this being the problem? thanks for the help

prob the short shifter , i heard axialflow gets a buzz/rattle , they have a fix for it now , you should search for the thread or contact the seller of it .
