Traffic jam is horrible here also in the morning. I live in Vancouver (the one in Canada), and so many hills here. Last time I had like 5 bars left on my gas meter, and then when I started driving, after like 15 min it dropped to like 1 bar and I had to immediately refuel.

You need to learn to drive a stick. I agree with the use the clutch to start and coast when you are just rolling along at slow speed. Save wear and tear on your driveline by using the clutch.

Lude do a search on upgrading the ecu to my 02-03 I remember some posters reported a much better driving experience on the mid and low end. The part is maybe 200 but your key and ecu will need reprogramming.

Try blocking off the 2 hoses that circulate hot water through your intakemanifold. Do a search for this trick. It is quick, easy and cheap. (2 ball bearings .375 inches........30 cents from ACE Hardware) I did it to mine and noticed a difference especially with the A/C on.
