car idling

car idling
ok my problem is when i turn the ac on the car starts to idles really low and shakes the whole car but when i turn it off its fine and runs normal another additional problem is the engine makes a subtle slapping noise in the engine cant quite figure out what it might be any ideas?

its the kicking on of the A/C system compresor,blower motor etc.... they all draw power from the car at the click of the button. 100% normal.. alittle unclear on the engine noise?
