Default car hesitating/bogging...help please

so within the last week i've noticed my car starting to hesitate/bog in 1-3 gear and only in low rpms (maybe up to 3500-4k rpms). i read on this forum that it is somewhat normal in 2nd and 3rd gear if you are in low rpms but im also experiencing this is 1st gear.

i had the CEL light come on about a month ago for the cat replacement (sorry i forgot the number) but it went away after 5 days so i didnt think much of it. could that have anything to do with this?

im thinking i should pull my plugs and check them...anything else that i should check?

anyone? so the problem seems to have gotten worse in the last two days and my CEL came back on.

after doing some more research i think it is either my spark plugs or my coil plug. my question is, how do i know which coil plug is bad?

i plan on just going ahead and replacing all 4 spark plugs.

If you pull your plugs and one looks dramatically different then you may have found a bad coil pack.

I'd get in there soon and make sure you don't have a plug backing out.

^ thanks for the reply.

i pulled plugs and the 2nd spark plug from the back was bad. replaced all plugs with a cheap $4 plug (bosch) and everything is good. but i was wondering, should i stick with these or should i go get some OEM ones?
