Good thing it happened at home. I think it had to do with your battery constantly moving around and the clean cut came from the end of the terminal itself. Good find
I once had a 92 Accord that would crank really slowly. After hours of trying to find a bad ground or short I finally found the power wire going to the fuse box had come loose. Makes you wanna do one of these
