its also possible to have a worn clutch. there are numerous reasons the car might be hard to shift, 1st I would see if there is fluid in the clutch reservoir, then the inside of the master(inside meaning the inside of the car)

Thanks for the replies! I checked the master and slave and there are no leaks from master/slave cylinder under or inside the car. I checked the reservoir and it seemed a tad bit low. I filled it up and the clutch feels great now! I'm glad the problem seems to be solved, but would ~4 ounces of missing fluid in the reservoir really make a difference like that?

Hopefully I won't have to worry about this again anytime soon, but I forsee a full bleed/new fluid change in the not too distant future...

Yeah mine had the same problem, I thought I needed a new clutch but turned out that it just needed fluid! You might want to check it every oil change or so cuz mine gets low every oil change and I looked behind the pedal and mine has no leaks I have no Idea where it goes

Hmm maybe I should've tried filling up my reservoir before doing a tranny/diff/regrease shifter

Noob question, what kind of fluid do you recommend I use?

I am assuming this problem is not covered under 100k warranty?
