Default CAR is going NUTS

So I was driving yesterday and my car went crazy! The RPM and Speed display went blank. My EPS and ABS light and CEL turned on... Mind you I am driving as this is happening. I get home and frantically look to see what is wrong and i find this:

What is that and where does it go? Please help me guys...

I don't know what that piece that you are holding does, but I do know where it goes. It attaches to the arm of you intake tube, the plastic arm. I know because when I installed my K&N FIPK, I had to remove it off the arm and attach it to the K&N arm.

It's an extra part, you can just toss it.
