Default Car goes to shit at Vtec.....?

I have one, that Ill be working on here in the next few minutes. I don't think this is gonna do the trick, but Ill try it first. Just wanted to get something up for when I come back.

Problem: On the way home, I was just driving along and went to higher RPM's and as it hit Vtec....it bogs down and just won't go. I don't think I could get it to 7K if I tried.

Any Ideas

Gonna check:

Vtec Solenoid.....screen
Anyone know how to check it with a test light? will it be ":hot" all the time or only when kicked in?

Guess I could try a map wack.

other than that....

If you can describe it as stumbling at high rpm it could be a simple ignition cut out. Check your plugs for any fouling or incorrect gapping. If they are old it won't hurt your wallet to replace them anyways. A weak coil, dirty/malfunctioning injectors, or even a dying fuel pump could cause a similar symptom.

You haven't driven the car in a while, right? I thought you said the other day that it had been put up for a while....

Yeah but this happened literally over night.
Yesterday and the day before NPs last night, we were ripping it through Nashville.

I wake up this morning to head back home and I get a "bog" effect at Vtec. Car runs fine as long as your not trying to get it into vtec range.
