Default Car feels twitchy

Ok, so I used to own RPF1's 17x8 17x9 +45 offset with 225/255 RE01Rs and then I changed my wheels to AP2 V3's with 225/255 RT-615's. I used to have the UK alignment except with -2.5 in the rear so I would rub less with the RPF1's. I sold those now and put on my new wheels and now my car feels twitchy. I've owned my car for a little over 2 years and autocrossed my car tons of times so I feel like I get gist of the handling of the car. Just it feels twitchy, like I was turning to the left and the snap oversteer would just kick in all of the sudden.

I'm confused on why it feels this way. Is it my alignment? the -2.5 alignment? I've meaning to go back to OEM alignment or UK alignment with -2.0 in the rear. Or is it suspension? 86k miles on my oem suspension? What to do?

I'm not here to say that I have the answer to your problem... But after reading your post, I think this may help get down to the answer...

1. Did you get a new alignment after changing the tyre/wheels?
2. And if so, do you have your current alignment specs?

I can say that the 80k on oem suspension is not the case... Unless there is some actuall damange to something? And if your tyre size has changed it is most likely related to alignment, but again...

I think filling in those two blanks will get you a better response...

I agree with this and would also keep an eye on tire pressures. You may have a slow leak.

Make sure that your rear camber adjustment is even (unless you race on an oval track) and that everything is tightened properly.

If everything looks OK, then experiment with different alignment settings to achieve the level of oversteer that you desire. I prefer a little understeer if I can't achieve neutral balance.

check your weight balance. If you removed your spare tire, passenger seat or anything it alters the weight distribution thus the twichiness

If it's not air pressure you can swap the fronts then the rears to see if anything changes. If it does that points to a problem with one of the wheels or tires.

The other thing to check is that they mounted the tires correctly if they are asymmetrical or directional.

Thanks for the advice guys. i checked the tires pressures and I strip out the trunk for my rollbar but I think I found the answer.

It seems like my left rear is about 2 inches lower than my right rear making it closer to my tire on the left than the right

I reacted like "wtf is this!? Why is my rear fender closer to my tire than my right??"

I guess I'll buy a low mileaged OEM suspension and get a new alignment. Random though, how this happened.

check the front of the car where the A arms connect to the chassis that is a known weak point and with bigger and stickier rubber they can begin to flex

i don't think doing that will adversely affect the car. those items by themselves i wouldn't consider to be major point loads.
