Any check engine lights? Does it engage vtec properly?

Maybe they messed up the brake job somehow and the rear brakes are dragging really bad. Jack the back of it up and rotate the rear wheels by hand.

^^ that was my next suggestion. make sure nothing is sticking. plug the scanner in and see if there are any pending codes. they coulda messed something up. you might be in limp mode.

Problem went away odd enough. No idea what it was but not going to complain.
