Folks, I've just found a way that you can get the incorrect ratio displayed on the screen so my idea about ratio being wrong is most likely incorrect. If they load the data but NOT the vehicle configuration, then you can get the correct graphs, but incorrect ratio displayed. Sorry about that folks. You learn something new every day!

How long did it take to do each pull? It should take about 14 to 15 seconds per pull. Anything less than that and it will be low on power - anything more than that and it will but too much strain on the engine. The idea is to simulate the 'on the road' speed of acceleration. 2 seconds per 1000 rpm is a good number for the S.

Here is my dynojet plot. The torque curve should be fairly flat all throughout the powerband.

Maybe the dynopack loading causes the erratic torque drops.

MY DYNOJET CHART

Add 5-10% for dynopack numbers. Also, you can add or subtract additional correction factors with a dynopack dyno manually. On a dynojet, you cannot apply the correction factor manually, its automatic and the corrections are minimal to a tune of +-1 to 3% typically.

but I got at least 50 less horsepower then I am supposed to get. add in the correction I am still only getting 180. I know some of you guys will start picking on my ARC, but it does not explain 50 less hp, compared with stock numbers. my number should be in the high 220. Anyone knows what's going on with my cylinder #1? two consecutive compression tests show different numbers, first time will give 200, second time will give 190, and the needle doesn't jump, unlike other 3 cylinders. This really worries me. thanks in advance for any inputs.

ok, their dyno graph for a 350Z with fujitsubo exhaust is in the 220s.
will add in a test pipe, and do compression test on monday, and have another dyno run.
This raises a big flag in my mind. A 350Z on a Dynojet pulls about 240 to 250 rwhp. On a Dynapack, it should be as high as 270 perhaps? If a 305Z is showing only 220 rwhp, something is wrong with the equipment. An S2000 at 170 hp seems about right. (As in, approx 50 hp less than the 350Z.)

a "305Z is showing only 220 rwhp" should just be right compared to the 350Z.

Did you call the folks who dyno'd your car? They should be able to tell you ratio used over the phone - all they need to do is load your vehicle configuration.

FYI - they have the ability to save all your data to a floppy so that you can see all the details in Excel. I do this for all my customers and make it available on the web if they so desire.

I once saw an S2000 dyno at 138hp. It was a while ago, and I can't remember the dyno name/style. Anyways, if you are worried about cyl. 1 take it in to a mechanic. Better safe than sorry.
