Because he had two more quarts to add, he wasn't finished.

so Is there no danger to driving with the oil cap off? Will this lead to a lack of oil pressure? I started my S after an oil change without the cap on (all the oil was in) and ran it for about 1 minute before I realized it was off. I didn't see the oil light come on or anything.

Running it for a minute without the oil cap will not cause any harm. If anything, oil will spray onto your hood and engine bay.

Driving w/o an oil cap will only cause a loss in oil preasure if a lot of your oil is lost via splashing out. I would imagine this would take a while, but I sure won't be testing the timeline.

GT- How much oil did you lose in the 20 minute drive?

I almost did this on my last oil change (but just backing the car up to check for leaks) but upon starting up the engine I heard the odd noise as I still had my hood up. Sounded like an odd pressure noise. I immediatly put the cap on, lol.

As others have said, how much oil did it lose in 20 miles?

I'd be more worried about someone driving 2 quarts low than a missing oil cap.
