I understand the reason for your tone, but I guess what I was trying to refer to was that he went out and bought a heavily modified car without knowing much about this particular vehicle, the options in upgrade paths, and what seems to be the popular upgrades. Therefore he doesn't know how to troubleshoot the car he owns. It is a pretty hard starting point to learn from.

not to mention he bought it with an unidentified CEL

Yes,i know it was dumb... the car had low milage and lots of mods and i was worried about the CEL but went threw with it anyways. Now the car is running fine. So i have no clue maybe it was just having a bad 2 days? Yes wishful thinking

it was also wishful thinking when you went through with the purchase...

but hopefully everything is fine.

i would do a compression and leakdown test.

Irregardless of it's current running condition, CHECK THE CODE(s) that the ECU is throwing. This will help you out with the problem and any others that are lurking.
