Default Car dies...

Hmmm yesterday i was driving around and everything was fine, i pushed in the clutch and stopped to turn and my car died. I thought that was odd and started it back up and it was fine. I drove a little longer and same thing. Now it has died on me 3 times, but it wont die till it warms up. Car was running lean at times according to my air/fuel mixture monitor. Any ideas? It DID throw a CEL 3 days ago, when i bought the car the guy said it would because it runs rich because it needed tuned or something. He told me to just pull 2 fusses and it would reset.

I would post up what other "things" are modified.

IMO.. I wouldnt buy a car that would just throw CEL's without knowing exactly why but thats just me.

Way too many variables on this one, especially when you don't know much of anything about the car. Take it to a qualified mechanic/shop and have them look at it.

And in the future, never buy a car that throws CELs unless you know EXACTLY why...

i think this guy that sold you the car hustled you.

I'm just throwing this out there, no reason to suspect what I'm about to tell you...

Yesterday , I cleaned out my throttle body/intake.... I had accidentally disconnected one of the two small vacume lines (the hard lines with two small grey tubes that connect them). I drove over to my friends house ~20 miles and got a cell P0411. I checked the lines and found the disconnected one. I fixed the problem then drove home. The car did exactly as yours did... I was slowing down for a stop sign, pushed in the clutch and the engine died! It did it 3 more times, but hasn't done it since (yesterday)...

So, um just incase, check your vacume lines...

Sounds like a vaccum leak to me. IMO, If you guys don't know anything about cars or modifiying them, then stick with stockers.
