Default Car acting funny after a launch...or power slide

Hi i have a 2004 s2000. I found out about my problem after i bought it and tryd launching. It is kind of hard to explain what happens exactly but ill try. When I launch ( or drift) pretty much when i put a lot of load on my rear tires my car feels fine but right after that i will be driving normally and my car will vibrate a lot more than usual until i hit a bump on the road and i feel something shift back into place underneath me also feel the shifter move and there is a clink noise. I have no idea what this could be, if you can please help me thank you very much.[SIZE=7]

Stop driving it until you find the problem. You can crash if it locks up at speed. Do a visual inspection of the rear and see if anything looks odd.

it doesnt really "lock up" just seems like something goes out of place from the load. If i drive it normally it never happens, like i said only when i launch or power slide (which i dont do often) just doesnt seem right.

sounds like a trans mount is blown and something is shifting...a LOT.

the s2000 has fluid filled engine mounts so they do have a little more play, but they are notorious for breaking, some people with under 20K miles have reported blown engine mounts. check those, check the transmission mounts, and then check ALL subframe bolts.

I recently replaced all my mounts (Engine, tranny and differential)
I never launch or drift just spirited driving and I had 1 broken engine mount and one broken differential mount and tranny mount was on its way out too. I recommend the Innovative set for the engine and tranny mounts, Exedium collars for the diff mounts. You may or may not see any obvious indication of a bad mount until you completely take it off and look at it. Mine were just cracked and had leaked out all of the oil inside with no tell-tales signs of the leaking. I have much more positive response to throttle inputs now.
