Car accelerates in neutral. Help!
I own a 2006 S2000. The car shifts normally until u pick up speed and once u try shifting into third usually the rps don't come down and you have to force the revs to drop by putting it in next gear and releasing the clutch which I know is very bad. Also, the car will keep accelerating even though I don't have the gas pedal down. Although when in neutral, the revs just keep going up but the car isnt actually moving faster. I've cleaned the throttle body, I thought it was sticking that's not the problem. Now im thinking its the dbw control. Im not quite sure what to do, I bought the dbw control but it was 2008 and it doesn't fit!! what a bummer. Should I buy an aftermarket tb do they come with the dbw control if that is the problem? Ive had some codes since I bought the car and I will attach those at the bottom, if anybody can give me an insight on those codes I would really appreciate it. I dont think those codes are whats causing the problem because those codes were on there for months. Lastly, the vsa button does not work. I would really appreciate it if someone can help me please.
Codes:
27-1- Steering Angle
61-1- Battery Voltage
83-1- ECM and PCM Engine control module, and powertrain control module
84-1- Senson Logic Failure
