CAR #7 ONE broken exhaust retainer

I check mine every 30k. 30k is a good interval. Unless something changes with this turbo car this weekend
Each customer has had one inspection along with the custom VA. Basically, ever car that has never had the cover pulled by me gets it pulled for VA and RI (retainer inspection). If it has been done be me once before, it has never been re-inspected.
UNLESS someone has over-reved, or think they have. I'll inspect the retainers, but never re-adjust the valves. Not needed.
My recheck interval is 80k, based on my car. The VA has held it's settings for 65k miles.
I have learned that once they crack, it's a slow process to get as bad as these.
Never found this on AP2 of course.

Bill, have you heard about the new forum some of our moderators are putting together?
It's going to be for new and prospective owners, and contain stuff they need to know. I think you're pictures need to be included, and you might be able to help the moderators write up a paragraph or two explaining what we currently think to be reasonable and prudent inspection intervals, etc. Might also want to mention the Modifry Shift Beeper and it's peak RPM memory, which is a sort of "inspection needed" indicator.
Certainly nobody is more qualified to discuss this, and your pictures are almost essential for any explination of what happens and what to look for. Maybe you should contact the mods and offer your services.
