Can't shift into 5th gear.
Hello Everyone,
I just recently purchased my AP1. When I first drove it, I realized it was pretty hard to shift into reverse, but didn't really think it was a major issue.
When driving yesterday, I tried to shift from 4th to 5th, but I was unable too, and I'm still not. It's like something is "blocking" it. I've tried with force to get it in, even at higher speeds and it's not wanting to budge. I haven't heard any grinds or anything, it was just a random occurrence. I'm able to go into neutral then shift into 6th without issue.
I was doing some searching and found a few threads about 5th and 6th gear sharing the same collar, so I'm hoping it's just that, but wanted to get some other opinions first before I take it to the shop. I'm hoping I didn't get screwed on my purchase.
Thanks in advance for any insight!

I had that problem too. When you're driving around 35 to 45 mph, just jam it in there. The gear ratios will push it into gear, and once you're able to get it in, then drive on it for a bit. Then rev up a bit into 6th gear then push it out. From then on, it'll seem to be resistant to get in there, but the more you work it out, the easier it is. At least that's what happened to me. I've had a few issues when it got stuck in 5th and took a bit of muscle to get it out. But once you can work it in and out, then over time it'll get easier. Also, stop grinding gears. ;D

I figured it was my fault I'm still getting used to the transmission. It feels much different than what I'm used to.
