cant rev past 7k in first

Default cant rev past 7k in first

i bought my ap1 a couple weeks ago.. and i baby it horribly

but yesterday i was in first gear and i noticed that it wont rev past 7k, its like hitting a wall almost

i dont know if this is a normal because rev limiters dont behave like that. so any information would be a great help to me, thanks.

and if this is normal and its a repost i appologize

You have to wait until the engine is fully warmed up to be able to hit VTEC or maybe your oil is low?

hmm that actually might be it.. cause i just changed my oil

i was reading on some gears poppin out.. but it doesnt seem like thats it

ill let my car warm up more before i try it next time

if anyone else has any suggestions lmk than

If the car pops out of gear, you'll know it. Most likely you're either not waiting for the engine to warm up fully, or low on oil. Check the oil first, becuase that can lead to other problems.

Baby it horribly and hit 7K+ when the engine is cold is an oxymoron
