Can't remove axle nut
#11
If this will help, I just tried a formula of 50/50 ATF and acetone for loosening rusted nuts and bolts I got from asking the question of what worked for doing it?
It works very very well. I used it on salted rusty marine stuff.

ps don't get it on paint

You didn't torch it; you used a cigarette lighter on it. I can't believe you answered that question. It was intended as a joke to make you think about the futility of heating a 36mm (or 1 7/16) nut with a cigarette lighter.
If you broke two breaker bars and a socket, you're buying the wrong brand of tools. Skip the made in China/India/Pakistan crap and pony up for some SK, Craftsman, or better.

Second I was using craftsman tools.

usually a good impact that puts out 240 lbs at least will work...
3/4" bar, industrial impact, and just cutting the thing off are my options. Which one is the best?

Cutting the nut might damage the spindle threads. But if the axle nut is that difficult to get off, makes me think that the spindle might be damaged already. A new one is is $228 from Majestic. Which might be cheaper than trying to get new tools or replace additional broken ones. (Passenger and driver side are the same.)
