Can't get into 6th gear?
Yesterday I took my S out one time and drove about 15 miles and then parked in the garage. Today I was out driving and I went to put it into 6th gear and couldn't.
It feels like it is completely blocked off. Every other gear including reverse works nice and smoothly. I'm not too sure what's wrong. I don't have the car with me right now to try to fix it, so I'm getting a little nervous. Hopefully within the next 2 hours someone can make me feel at ease with the problem not being much of a problem.
Thanks

Not a new problem often caused by a missed shift to third that catches fifth... since fifth and sixth share a collar the damage affects sixth. Several of us have resolved the problem by forcing it into gear, usually taking numerous tries and heavy pressure. Do a search and you will find both the successes and the warnings that forcing it will bend parts.

This problem is usually caused by skipping fifth gear and going directly into sixth.
If I rember correctly, the syncros for sixth were not designed to bridge that high of a gap in rpms so the syncro gets peaned over time till one day, the transmission will no longer shift in to sixth.
There have been a few threads about this with photos of the dammaged syncro.
A little creative searching may bring it up.

Is there anything else to do besides force it into gear?

Try rocking it into gear. This would involve one person on each end of your car. While you move the shifter all the way to the right and upward as far as it will go, (clutch in) have the two assistants rock your car back and forth. Try this with with the engine on, and off.
Can't hurt to try.
