I've swapped in a 4.77 final drive so the VTEC transition is like a turbo, brutal!

i thought any one with half a brain checks the engine oil once in a while.
I would think anyone with half a brain would check the fluids in a car they are about to buy.

Chocolate milk coolant = Walk away
No oil on the dipstick = Walk away

VTEC hits pretty hard on my car. I've owned b16's and h22's and the f20 hits just as hard. Some days if there's a little gravel or dirt on the road my tires will break loose when VTEC hits in 1st and 2nd gear. Other days it doesn't hit as hard but it's still noticable. I still can't figure out why it's faster some days and not others.

I have had at least 20 s2k's come into my shop with decreased VTEC "kick".

Dirty air filter every time.
