Early AP1's only had one horn located in front of the AC condenser behind the bumper. We don't have the second horn located in the engine bay like the 02-09's.

dude might have a project in mind.. it isn't your money.. it isn't your dream.. you go piss on other peoples dreams.. what.. didn't get enough love as a child.. go for it dude.. I see potential... you got inspired.. why let all this negative stop you.. they aren't making a New S2000.. whatever they make.. it is not going to be.. this car... all these cars, that are here by left.. are, PRICELESS.. figure it out... less the frames bent.. it's all rebuild... it's just what's your plan, it's your money.... when the dust settles, when some of these chits get back to their beamers an gti's and datsuns, there will be those.. who know.. those who follow a code... those.. few.. dedicated... anyway, enough of this....

OP asked, " can you see any problems with this engine bay?"
do you...

i already stated, i see potential..

i'll say it differently, you have your based upon your experiences, I have mine, which I also rebuilt.. but have a clean title.. i'd only waste my money on a salvage for a track car.. but, you saw potentail.. and.. if your into just such detail as you feel.. i bet your doing a fantastic job.. i feel in parts.. on mine, I have..

Yeah, tons. Everything that was touched in that engine bay is a potential headache in the future. Not to mention all of the work done looks half ass.
My purchase was a mistake, and I'll never do it again. I was ignorant of all the little details that eat up so much time and money.

If the OP wants a "project," has a lot of money, and more time than he has money, and the motor checks out ok, then I'd say go for it. But if he wants a car that he can hop in and go for a worry free drive....keep shopping.

Duct tape on the firewall and two bolts missing from each fender. Looks like a gem

I was on my way to go look at this car until I remembered I posted this and read over the posts in the car. I turned around. Did I mention the car was "just" throwing 6 codes for "the exhaust"?... Then got emailed about an all original ap1 owned by a 70 year old veteran the next day and picked it up for the same price. Thanks guys. Anyone selling/trading oem red seats near North Carolina? haha

oh thank Gawd... every guy who's been following this will be so happy to read...

will confess to having wanted you to go through the other car an it turn out to be not a lemon ( no pun on it being Spa...), but.. 6 codes.. and all the this and that missing.. my guess.. it would have been a real adventure and maybe not good.. glad you selected one from a source less questionable...
