Looks like its missing a few items from the engine bay. Probably relocated the items but it looks like its missing the VIN sticker on both of the fenders. I would definitely stay away from this s2k. Good Luck!

Stay far, far away!
Take it from a guy that has spent the last 2-3years trying to get his salvage title s2k back to oem'ish shape.
Every little clip, screw, interior molding, carpet, you name it, has probably been messed with on that thing.
I spent 175$ just on fender, upholstery, undercarriage and interior trim fasteners....just the fasteners! And my car looked way better than that at purchase.

Looks like half the wires are missing from the engine bay.

the vin tags are missing from both fenders so they have been repainted at the very least. Probably an accident as already mentioned, since the headlights were replaced.

I agree with the point made that if this is your first s2000 I wuold say no to that one and find one more stock.

It looks pretty straight from a body perspective but the missing VIN stickers is definitely a worry.

If the car runs then obviously most have that stuff has been relocated. However, some idiots will "remove" the coolant overflow tank reservoir thinking ("my coolant is full, why do I need it"). I'm not sure if this guy did that or he stuffed it down on the underside of the radiator. You can see the pop-off tube going that way but it could be open-eneded which would be very bad.

Number 1 reason for me to not buy this piece of junk is that crap oil filter. That looks like the low-end Purolator filter, not even the premium one.

Number 2 reason for me would be that if this guy did all of this it TYPICALLY means they are not the best drivers or caretakers for the standard maintenance stuff in the world because frankly a lot of them are teenagers. I'm NOT talking about the FI folks. They have to move stuff to make stuff work. This is just stupid relocation for that "tyte look, yo." If you know what I mean...

I can see the benefits of relocating and tucking an engine bay aesthetically (its a modern style of hot-rodding). But I don't think this example was probably done properly based on what has been pointed out (oil filter/cheap intake etc). I would personally not want to have to reverse or trace someones issues to get it done properly (been there done that) And it is very time consuming and can add up.

Avoid wire tucks at all cost.
