Can You See Any Problems From This Engine Bay?
I am thinking about purchasing an AP1 tomorrow. The car is clean overall but has a wire tuck. The owner sent me this photo. Can anyone visually see any problems (besides the lack of a battery) or can you suggest anything to check for when I physically look at the car?

I don't actually see any problems per say, but I will tell you this:
If this will be your first S2000, you should look at purchasing a different one that isn't as quite modified. This car is missing the coil pack cover, the valve cover has been repainted, and it has aftermarket headlights. Also, cruise control may have been deleted altogether instead of tucked.
The aftermarket headlights make me question whether or not the car was in a front end accident or not.
This car could potentially be more of a headache than it is worth

Never mind the AC, where the hell is the battery!! It is missing other things too, I just can't quite put my finger on what. I would stay away from this car, if this is what the seller provided in an attempt to sell you his car.

Wouldn't buy someone's attempt at a project. Seems to me like they may have given upon it and are more than likely looking for a quick sale.
You'll find it much more rewarding buying a near stock s2000 and building off of that one. Good luck!

+1 on the front end collision thoughts. I don't see vin stickers on the fenders either...
The car is clean my butt, one look at that engine bay would send me running...
