Default Can you mix oil, diff, tranny fluid when discardin
I plan on do some fluid changes this weekend. Can you mix oil, diff, tranny fluid when discarding at Pep Boys, or Autozone?? I wasn't sure if they would freak out or not.

Yes you can. Do NOT mix antifreeze with it.

I donated a bottle of diff, engine, and tranny fluid to Wal Mart and planned to do it again in the future.

Yeah, they really throw a fit when you bring them oil contaminated with coolant when your friend's chevy blows a head gasket.
