bought a Spoon thermostat, but can't find a spoon t-switch (speeding is out of them)
can i mix match them?

Since they have different temp thresholds, but close, it may or may not be a problem. I'd work a little harder at finding matched parts.

I heard that they don't work together, it also throws a check engine light. Use Spoon with Spoon and Mugen with Mugen.

Spoon thermostat opens at a cooler temperature. If you got the Mugen thermoswitch, the fans would not come on as much. I don't think it is a problem, but I would not recommend it.

Patience! Get the Spoon T-switch. Some vendor has got to have one.
